Password - Your password for all Main form Management and Employee functions is "demo"(either upper or lower case)

Note! Help files deleted in the most recent program and instead you will be helped by using the system manual found on the main form. Just click on the menu and the pertinent information will be shown.

A certain amount of data has been included within this program for demonstration purposes. Any and all of this information can be changed. Refer to your system manual

Please note! The evaluation program does not require the mandatory inputs listed below. However, if you would like to set up the system for your individual Campground or Resort, the data supplied should be helpful. – Additionally, data found in your System manual will be helpful.

GETTING STARTED WITH YOUR NEW SYSTEM

PLEASE NOTE! Information found in your System manual will help.

BELOW ARE MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS AND STEPS TO FOLLOW BEFORE YOU CAN USE YOUR NEW SYSTEM.  (All steps are very easy to complete)

Failure to complete the mandatory steps will positively result in improper operation!

SECTION 1  - RATES

THE FOLLOWING STEPS ARE CRITICAL TO YOUR RATE STRUCTURE (failure to complete this section will give you errors or no data associated with your campground or Resort rates)

  1. Go to RATE CHANGES (Found on the MANAGEMENT FORM) A representative listing of SITE TYPES has been provided. You can make changes to SITE TYPES at any time but be sure to follow all recommendations
    NOTE: If you will be using the currently supplied SITE TYPES you only have to establish your RATE structure as shown below:

  2. In the SELECT SERVICE TYPE FOR RATE CHANGE field click to select the service type (i.e. W/E/S – 30A) – the site type you selected should be shown in the left SITE TYPE field

  3.  In the RATES section enter your rates in the daily, weekly and monthly fields.
    That’s all there is to it!

ADDING NEW SITE TYPES

To add a new SITE TYPE:

 

1.              Click the button to the left of ADD A NEW SITE SERVICE TYPE

2.               Enter your service type i.e. W/E/S (for water , electric and sewer) in the SITE TYPE field

              You can describe your services in any way you would prefer.

3.               In the RATES section, enter your rates in the daily, weekly and monthly fields.

SEASONAL RATES

Seasonal rates are entered into the seasonal field. The SEASONAL site type cannot be removed but you can set your own criteria for this type of entity by being creative.

 

SECTION 2 – COMPANY INFORMATION

 

1.              Open PSCampSystem

2.              On the MAIN form - Click on Management Functions

3.             Click on Manager/Admin and find “Manager J. Q. ” (or use your new password information)

 

In the “Managers Functions” form click on “Company Information”

Fill in all data on this form:

 Company Name

 Address

 City

 State/Province

 Postal Code

 Phone Number - (unless you don’t have one)

 Fax - (unless you don’t have one)

 Email - (unless you don’t have one)

Sales Tax Rate (unless there is none)

Electric charges Kwh ( if you charge for electric)

Note! The COMPANY INFORMATION form provides information used throughout the PSCampground Management system,so completeness and accuracy is a must!

Payment terms, Invoice notation, Cancellation policy and agreement information are currently filled in as a guide. You can enter your own information by highlighting the information and then write over the highlighted area.

SECTION 3– CAMPSITE EDITS/ADDITIONS

When finished with the company information form, return to the MANAGEMENT form and fill in the information within the Campsite Edits/ Additions form. Follow the following steps

 

1.        In the SITE field enter the Name or number of the site

2.       In the DESCRIPTION  field A general description of the site.(if desired)

3.        Select a SERVICE TYPE by using the dropdown arrow to the right

4.         Enter Total length of RV allowed. (Note- you can also state the intended usage of the site i.e. “tent”

5.        If you charge guests for electric check “Metered Site”

To add additional sites click the ADD A NEW RECORD button and follow the steps 1-5 noted above.

To update a current site you select it by clicking to highlight the sight in the SITE SELECTOR field.

 

SECTION 4 - PASSWORDS

  1.   Open the PSCampMain program

  2. On the MAIN form - Click on Management Functions

  3.  Click on Manager/Admin and find “Manager J. Q. ”

  4.  Enter the Password - “DEMO” (upper or lower case is OK”

  5.  IT IS RECOMMENDED that you add your own password now.

a.        In the “Managers Functions” form

b.       Click on Employees/Passwords

c.        Select ”New Employee/Manager

d.       Enter your class code as “M”

e.        Enter your First then Last Name (middle initial if desired)

f.         Enter your own password

It is highly recommended that you write down your new password and store it in a safe place. If you forget your password it is not recoverable

                                                g.  Close the password form and return to the main form.

As a final exercise, try accessing the Management Functions form using your new name and password.

You can now delete the other passwords at your discretion.

Note: For ease of access, you can install a shortcut in windows to open any program by following general instructions in your Microsoft Windows program.
